This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Dinnerfold app

The app does not collect personal data. Your household, preferences and plans are stored only on your device. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy; we do not receive your payment details.

This website

Hosting. This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., USA. When you visit it, Netlify processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of access and your browser type in server logs. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure.

Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the time you signed up. We use it for one purpose only: to tell you when Dinnerfold launches. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us. The form is processed and stored by Netlify.

No cookies, no analytics. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are hosted on this website itself, so no data is sent to font providers.

Transfer abroad

Netlify is based in the USA. Data may therefore be processed there. We rely on Netlify’s data processing terms, which include safeguards recognised under Swiss and EU data protection law.

How long we keep data

We delete waitlist email addresses after sending the launch email, at the latest 12 months after you signed up, or earlier if you ask us to.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@dinnerfold.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we add new services, for example a newsletter tool for the launch email, we will update this page first.
